As our stay on the island of Arborek will be coming to an end in a few days it’s a good time to look back and reflect.
It’s a hard life in paradise. We’re trying to adjust to the simple life style here in Raja Ampat for our second project.
At Samboja Lestari we are working with orangutans and sun bears, that are kept here because they need help after humans had caused them harm in various ways.
Our first working day at the Samboja Lestari Orangutan Sanctuary was spent on “enrichment” for the great apes. Tired but happy we are back in our room after a very sweaty day.
A walking tour through central Jakarta brought us to some nice and some not-so-nice corners of the city.
